NEW VISION CLASS OF 2006 TO BUILD ¼ MIRACLE MILE OF QUARTERS

Watertown, New York ----- The New Vision Class of 2006 at Samaritan Medical Center is collecting quarters to build a “Miracle Mile of Quarters” to benefit Children’s Miracle Network of Northern New York.  The “Miracle Mile of Quarters” will be displayed on February 11th at Salmon Run Mall in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods Store from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students collect cash and also sell raffle tickets for donated prizes.

The New Vision Class at Samaritan has been conducting fundraisers for Children’s Miracle Network for nearly nine years. Within the past four years, students have raised more than $10,000 to help sick and injured children in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. This fundraiser is part of the their economic projects, and the students are responsible for every aspect of planning the event.
