Each year CMN hosts events that help raise funds for children in this area. Below are a few of the events we do each year.

4th Annual River Rat Triathlon

This race is in partnership with the Thousand Islands Young Leaders Organization (TIYLO) – a nonprofit organization working together for the betterment of communities in the Thousand Islands region and for personal development of young leaders. www.tiylo.org

CMN Baby Photo Contest

Annually in the in the Fall – September 20 – 22, 2013
Entering the contest is easy. Children five years old and under are eligible to participate for a registration fee of only $15. Participants receive a FREE 5 x 7 portraits taken by Creative Imaging Fine Photography during three days of photo shoots in April at Salmon Run Mall. The photos are then displayed at the Mall for a week for family, friends and shoppers to vote on their favorite. Vote are $1 each or six for $5.00 – all to benefit Children's Miracle Network -- On-line voting is also available. An average of 350 contestants sign up annually and the event is very popular among military families. The top three photos with the most votes at the end will win great prizes presented at an Awards Ceremony at the mall. This event is widely covered by media.

Radiothon (The Border 106.7 & 94 Rock)

Annually in late fall (October 30 – November 1, 2013)
Radio stations dedicate three days of air time to sharing touching Miracle Stories and Montages (stories set to music), reaching out to their listening audiences, asking for donations to support Children's Miracle Network.

Peter Pan Birthday Club

Year-round
The Peter Pan Birthday Club of Children's Miracle Network at Samaritan Medical Center is open to all children and is designed to foster and encourage philanthropy in children. Birthdays are a special time to celebrate and by joining the Peter Pan Birthday Club, your child has the opportunity to impact the life of a sick child. Club members ask birthday party guests to bring a monetary gift to Children's Miracle Network of NNY instead of a present. All of the gifts made through the Peter Pan Birthday Club help meet specific needs of children in Northern New York.

Teens for Miracles

Sunday, March 3rd at the new Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center located at 1291 Faichney Drive, Watertown, NY.

The fashion show features area high school teens who volunteer their time to model some of the latest prom and party styles from A Touch of Grace and Nelson's Tuxedo and Formal. Teens will show off their swagger on the runway with contemporary music provided by For Pete's Sake Entertainment. New this year will be younger girls modeling Sugarplum Ball dresses! There will also be give-a-ways including a gown from A Touch of Grace, a silent auction and much more. A donation of $10 will be requested at the door to benefit CMN.

Dance Marathon 

Just held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Case Middle School in Watertown, NY. We hope to see you all next year!

The Dancing for Kids Sake Dance Marathon is billed as the most fun you can have in 12 hours, with food, music, live entertainment, competitions, and much more! It's fun with a purpose. An average of 300 dancers, from middle school to college freshman, participate annually and raise money by securing donations and pledges in advance, and 100% of those funds will stay in the local community to help North Country kids. The event receives major television and radio promotion.
