"Teens for Miracles" – a charity fashion show, hosted by Miss Thousand Islands 2012, Allison Carlos, will be held Sunday, March 3rd, 2 p.m., at the new Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center located at 1291 Faichney Drive in Watertown (former Covidien facilty). A donation of $10 will be requested at the door to benefit Children's Miracle Network of Northern New York.
The fashion show features area high school teens who volunteer their time to model some of the latest prom and party styles from A Touch of Grace and Nelson's Tuxedo and Formal. Teens will show off their swagger on the runway with contemporary music provided by For Pete's Sake Entertainment. New this year will be younger girls modeling Sugarplum Ball dresses! There will also be give-a-ways including a gown from A Touch of Grace, a silent auction and much more.
To model, guys and gals need to go and get fitted for tuxes at Nelson's Formal Wear and dresses at A Touch of Grace by February 28th. New this year – show coordinators are also looking for younger girls to model Sugarplum Ball dresses!
The fashion show has raised close to $12,000 since 2008 thanks to A Touch of Grace, the teens who volunteer, sponsors, and everyone who attends the show. To watch a video from last year's Teens for Miracles Fashion Show go to the following link on YouTube titled "A Touch of Grace Fashion Show":
