Background
& Mission
The Samaritan Foundation of Northern New
York was established as a separate, not-for-profit organization in
1995. The Foundation's mission is to encourage gifts that support and
advance healthcare provided by the Samaritan Health System and to
increase the public's awareness of and participation in health and
wellness programs.
Through the work of
dedicated volunteers, the Foundation cultivates individuals, businesses
and foundations capable of making contributions. Donated funds will be
allocated for facilities, equipment and programs that enhance patient
care, promote health education and improve the quality of life in our
region. Funds will also be retained to build an endowment for future
healthcare needs.
