DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP

Open to diabetics and their families and friends.  Call 785-4208 for more information.


HEART SUPPORT GROUP


Group meets each month. The Heart Support Group is open to those who have experienced heart disease, their families and friends.  For more information, call 785-4208.



BREAST FEEDING MOMS’ SUPPORT GROUP


Meets every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Education Room at The Maternity Place at Samaritan Medical Center. New members are always welcome and attendance is on a drop-in basis. Each week certified lactation consultants are available to answer questions about breastfeeding and nutrition and to offer other services, such as weekly weigh-ins for newborns. There is no fee to belong to the group. For more information, please call The Maternity Place at 785-4050.




STROKE SUPPORT GROUP


Meets the third Wednesday of every month in the Turner Room at Samaritan Keep Home at 7:00 p.m.  Stroke survivors, their families and caregivers are encouraged to attend. For more information, call Sue Hamilton at 232-2717.




MAN TO MAN - A SUPPORT GROUP FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER


Group meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. in conference room #3 (behind the cafeteria) at Samaritan Medical Center. The group is designed to offer education and support for men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Free, and open to all men with the diagnosis.
