Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Nursing
Home offer tuition assistance for employees interested in pursuing
a healthcare career in a designated “Hot Jobs” program.
A total of $2,000 per semester is available to each participating
employee to cover the cost of tuition fees and books.
Hot Jobs Program Requirements:
Samaritan Medical
Center/Samaritan Keep Nursing Home must employ
recommended individual for one year (2080
hours).
A department manager
must recommend the employee
for the program.
Employee must be accepted
in an approved accredited program for a designated “Hot
Job.”
Employee must maintain
part-time/casual status and work a minimum
of 750 hours
while attending
the approved accredited program.
Employee
must maintain a 2.5 GPA in order to continue
to receive tuition assistance.
Employee
must maintain employment upon graduation
for one year for every
two semesters reimbursed. Assistance
is available for the last
two years of education before graduation.
The
number of educational assistance awards
is limited and will vary base
do the needs of
SMC/SKH.

Through the Employee Referral
Program, you can earn from $500 to $1,500 for
every person who is hired by Samaritan as a result
of your referral. It can be a friend, relative,
a professional associate, or anyone who is interested
in providing high quality healthcare to our patients
and residents. There is no limit to the number
of people you refer, so start referring now!
Level I Referrals: Earn up to $500
Level II Referrals (Hard-to-Recruit positions):
Earn up to $1,500
50% of the bonus is payable
upon the referred candidate’s hire date.
As the referral source, you will be eligible
for
a second
payment when the employee successfully completes
six months of employment. And when the employee
successfully completes one year, you will be
eligible
for a third payment. All current Samaritan
employees are eligible to participate.
This program applies to all full-time and
part-time vacant positions. Employee
