Urology

Urology is the specialty of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the male and female urinary tract and male reproductive system. The urinary tract consists of the kidneys and the adjacent adrenal glands, ureters, bladder, male prostate, and urethra. The male reproductive system consists of the penis and the scrotal contents which include the testicle, epididymis, vas deferens, and spermatic cord. The prostate, seminal vesicles and eyaculatory ducts are also part of the male reproductive system.
