Introduction
Outpatient
Behavioral Health Services at Samaritan includes outpatient psychiatric
services for adults and children and Addictions Services. Both programs
are conveniently located at the Samaritan Medical Plaza, 1575
Washington Street, Watertown.
Psychiatric Services
Outpatient child, adolescent and adult psychiatry services available
include initial assessment, including development of an individualized
psychiatric treatment plan, psychotherapy, referral for special
studies, tests and consultations as needed, health education regarding
diagnosis and the appropriate use of psychotropic medications,
community referrals for appropriate services, prescription renewal line
24 hours/7 days a week, after hours message center with instructions
for emergencies and non-emergency access to care.
Addiction Services
Are
you or someone you love being negatively affected by alcohol or drug
use? It is important for you to know you don't have to go through it
alone. We have help for both the affected individual, as well as the
person being affected by another's addiction. Confidential counseling
is available by a professional, compassionate team where you are more
than a number or statistic.
Treatment and Recovery
Samaritan
Medical Center's addiction services program provides quality and
compassionate care for the alcohol/chemically dependent client.
Treatment of alcohol/drug addictions is comprised of educational and
behavioral care. Recovery from addiction includes psychological,
emotional, and spiritual care. Samaritan believes in addressing all of
these aspects as part of its outpatient program.
A
specifically trained and professional staff make up the program's
treatment and recovery team. To help ensure quality care for its
clients, an excellent client-to-counselor ratio exists. Team members
assess and coordinate a goal-oriented individualized treatment plan for
each client.
Samaritan realizes discretion and privacy are
often concerns of potential clients. Any information obtained from
either a client or agency regarding a client is strictly confidential
and is protected by Federal Law. Samaritan understands and assures each
client's right to confidentiality.
The primary objective of treatment at this agency is to arrest the
disease of
chemical dependency or co-dependency and to restore the client to an
improved or acceptable level of functioning in all areas of their life.

The Outpatient
Treatment Program
The
clinic provides a wide range of services to the client and family
affected by alcohol and chemical dependency. These services include:
evaluation, referral, individual/group counseling, and working with
significant others. All treatment is based on individual assessment
which is done by our multidisciplinary treatment team.

Directions
Interstate
81 to Exit 45. Take Route 3 (Arsenal St) and go East for 1.9 miles.
Turn right onto Public Sq. and go South for about 100 feet. Continue
for 1.7 miles to 1575 Washington St. Samaritan Medical Plaza is on the
left. Use the right entrance.

are provided Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 7p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. - 5
p.m.
