The Samaritan Health System is committed to Long Term Care in northern New York. We recognize that as our population ages and many families cannot provide adequate in home assistance, the need for quality long term care is crucial. Samaritan has the capacity and expertise to accommodate over 500 area residents in our long term care facilities, the Samaritan Keep Home and Samaritan Summit Village – a new home for the loved ones of our friends and neighbors will provide them the proper care and attention they need to continue to age while feeling safe and secure.
Samaritan's goal for long term care is to be able to take care of people at all stages of life – from assisted living for people that are very independent and don't need to be looked after continuously, to enhanced living that provides the next level of care and skilled nursing that is 24 hour a day care for resident that need it. We want our residents to age in place and have the appropriate level of care in order to meet all of their needs.
