Pulmonary Rehabilitation is designed to help people living with lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, occupational/environmental lung disease, neuromuscular disease, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, heart-lung transplant, and restrictive chest wall disease. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department is located on the 4th floor of the hospital by using Pratt Elevator (C). You can contact the department by calling 315-785-4208.
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation program operates under the direction of a board certified pulmonologist. Registered nurses who specialize in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and are certified in ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) work with you and your personal physician while you are in the program.
Your health insurance may or may not cover Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Contact your insurance company for more information. Pulmonary Rehabilitation Maintenance programs are self-pay.
Samaritan's Pulmonary Rehabilitation program has been certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) since 2002. Please see our Pulmonary Rehabilitation brochure.
